Friends
What would life be like without friends? I'd venture to say we'd all be selfish, self-centered, lazy, violent creatures. If you look at world history, it seems that human nature is violent, self-serving, and gluttonous. The relationships we call friends are vital in our lives to teach us so many lessons. They keep us humble when we think too highly of ourselves and need a swift kick in the rear. They build us up when we feel like we're inadequate. The teach us selflessness when we help them with their problems. They comfort us through our problems. The thing is ... even though no one can find solutions to your problems except for you, it makes a world of difference to have someone there to give you a hug or hold your hand through the tough times. No one can make important decisions for you, but they can stand by you when you have to make them for yourself.Friendship is Heavenly Father's way of sending angels to surround you and wrapping his arms around your heart. The hard thing about that, is we have to accept it. We can have friends who are there to help us, but if we don't let them in, what good does it do? We help others in need, but we also help others by letting them help us. One of the Lord's tender mercies, I think.

Change
As some of you may know I used to be a little bit... whats the word?... depressed? is that right... yeah.. well I was called as the Laurel's class president in june 2007 and I have changed quite a bit since then. I am not the same Tara that I was all through out junior high and tenth grade. I have had alot of people help me change... most of them have moved away but the ones that stick out in my mind are... Allie Navratil, Shaylyn Johnson, Keli Dahl, Ashley Horne, Rachael Mckee, Lisa Soper, Daffney Blais, Carlie Wendel, Jewel Wakamatsu, and Ashley Walsh. I want to thank them for everything! I love all of them!

Prom 03/22/08
As some of you may know the first semester of school I was in the peer tutor class. In that class I helped the special needs students. I went to prom with the class as well as helped them in the class room . It was the most fun I had had in a while. The students in that class our some of my heros! (oh and don't forget the teacher Ms. Walsh.)

My Nieces and Nephews
Unfortunately I have not been able to get a picture of all of them together but I am going to try to do that after my sister Jody has her baby. She is Due on July 1st. I am excited to say that there has been a new addition to my extended family. My niece Isla was born on may 29th. She is Zada's sister. I must say that Zada is quite the older sister.. When I took her to the hospital on the 29th to see her baby sister and her mom she wouldnt let me hold Isla. I asked her if I could her when she was done and she told me "no, she is my baby." She is trying to be like a mom to Isla. I went over to her house today to help her mom out with lunch and when i walked through the door Zada was holding Isla and started yelling NO!!! she didnt want me to take the baby from her.. I am already being suckered in and Isla is only 3 days hold. by the way it is pronounced like Lila just with out the L. It's not is law. lol. Oh wow I sound like they are my own kids.. but oh well I love all these little buggers.
